Harry Sanborn just loves dating younger women and the way this is making him feel; charming, irresistible and young. Sometimes a little bit too young… When making love with his 30 years younger girlfriend Marin, he suffers a heart attack. And since they were spending the weekend in her mother’s beach house, he has to stay there and recover from the attack. When Marin’s mother Erica is taking care of Harry, while Marin herself leaves, they start to like each other. But Harry’s doctor seems to be making a move on Erica as well. | ||||||||

Something’s Gotta Give is an enjoyable romantic comedy. Although the beginning of the movie included more of the comical parts and what followed was more romantical. It starts out quite embarrassing when Erica finds an unknown elderly man in her kitchen. After this meeting there are some other awkward and therefore fun situations, which makes this movie definitely worth watching.
Later we will see how Erica and Harry start to get along. At first, still a bit embarrassed about the situation, but more and more comfortable with each other. I really enjoyed this change in the story. To see how the characters are getting closer. All in all, the balance between comedy and romance was just right for me. | ||||||||
