Chris and Lisa move into a new neighborhood. They soon meet their new neighbor Abel, who seems to be a little more involved with the people in his street than the others. He’s an LAPD officer and when they get into an argument, things escalate into something much much bigger.

Most people would agree Samuel L. Jackson is a pretty good actor. As long as he isn't in a role that makes him swear every 10 seconds, the best ones I'd say are the evil ones. Like 'Black Snake Moan,' but without the soft side. This seems to be a perfect role for him. Accompanied by Patrick Wilson, who generally has a good eye for the right script and also had some great performances in the past.
I don't know if it's my irritating neighbor or the hyped up trailer, but it got me totally into this movie. As long as director Neil LaBute ('The Wicker Man') doesn't overdo it, this might be one of the better picks after the summer blockbuster rush. Release date: September 19,2008
