After escaping from occupied Poland, three Jewish Bielski brothers join the Russian resistance fighters and try to build a village in the forest. Directed by Edward Zwick (Blood Diamond) and based on the acclaimed novel of Nechama Tec, this seems like a strong drama about Jewish resistance. In this aspect it's interesting and unlike the general passive victims portrayed in your average war movie. Judging by the trailer, this is a promising thrilling title to keep on your radar.
